Kurang dari empat hari lagi, tim nasional sepakbola Indonesia akan menghadapi juara liga sepakbola Amerika Serikat (Major League Soccer), LA Galaxy. Yang menarik komposisi pemain yang akan diturunkan pada pertandingan nanti adalah gabungan dari timnas senior dan timnas U-23.
PSSI selaku organisasi induk cabang olahraga terpopuler di dunia tersebut telah menunjuk Rahmad Darmawan sebagai pelatih.
Dari informasi yang didapat ada 21 pemain yang dipersiapkan dalam laga kali ini dimana 11 pemain diambil dari timnas U-23 sedangkan sisanya berasal dari timnas senior.
Diantara 10 pemain timnas senior terselip dua yang baru rampung menjalani proses naturalisasi yaitu Greg Nwokolo dan Victor Igbonefo.
